Nathania Silalahi | Team Profile

Nathania (Thania) Silalahi is a Research Manager at the Project on Workforce. Her work focuses on workforce data and policy, including managing the Project’s flagship data tools, the Workforce Almanac and GenAI Adoption Tracker, and supporting mixed-methods research on state workforce systems.

Previously, Thania served in the Special Staff Office of the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research & Technology, where she contributed to the design and implementation of national higher education reforms spanning college funding models, scholarships, and efforts to expand work-based learning. She also brings research experience across development-focused institutions, such as the United Nations and J-PAL, as well as advisory experience in state government through work with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Thania holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford.
